The staff here are very good, the restaurant food is tasty, the rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. Also the building is very close to shops and restaurants.

Space Apartments stands out primarily for its location. In the chaos of Dhaka, this place offers a rare and blissful quiet, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The second standout is the building itself—beautifully designed rooms with thoughtful touches like blackout curtains and an impressive level of cleanliness (even the tap water!). The rain shower was especially delightful and worth the stay alone. It’s not crowded, the view is decent, and the atmosphere feels peaceful.

During my stay, I had an issue with the AC, but the staff quickly provided a workaround, which I appreciated. However, the service overall was a mixed bag. While they graciously accommodated a special request for my mother's anniversary, their handling of a late checkout request was disappointing—not because it was denied, but because of the unsympathetic way they communicated it. Unfortunately, I also lost something during my stay, which added to the frustration. The food was average and left room for improvement.

Despite these drawbacks, I was pleasantly surprised to find a property of this calibre in Dhaka. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with well-designed accommodations, Space Apartments is a great choice—I’d take it over any of the city's top hotels any day.

I cam back to Space to finish my trip. Hasna, from Executive Sales, saw my previous review about the overhead noise in Room 804. She said Space would have changed my room if I requested. She was nice and professional.

It is true that I did not request a change. I was there for one day and tired.

I appreciate her concern and thanked her.

That said, 804 can be a bit noisy when there is an event in the meeting room. The hotel is super nice. Just ask for a different room.

Location is an upscale street. Several western style cafes nearby. Breakfast is average.

Do not accept Room 804 (or even 803). A meeting room is over the room in the 9th floor. Super noisy. Many people and moving furniture all day (and into early evening).

We enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was very good. We will definitely stay here again if we travel to Dhaka.

The personnel is very polite. The room is quite big, comfortable. There is no noise at all, cause the street where the Space Apartments is situated is very quite without vehicles and people, completely empty and clean. The breakfast was tasty. Like this Hotel very much.

This is a great alternative to a traditional hotel if you are staying in Dhaka for more than a short time. Serviced apartments are a relatively new concept in Dhaka and Space Apartments does a very good job. We were here two months and really liked it. The staff are outstanding! From the guards out front to the reception to the restaurant to housekeeping to maintenance, everyone goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings are plentiful and delicious, a mix of western and eastern food. The masala omelet is perfect each time. The lunch/dinner menu is not huge but is very tasty and carefully prepared. Room service is available. The dining room is private, only for guests; a nice feature.

Space Apartments is surprisingly quiet, with very little of the traffic noise and honking you hear 24/7 in most places in the city, and even on residential streets a block or two away. It's a five minute walk to Gulshan Lake Park, ten minutes to the American Club or Australian High Commission or Justice Shahabuddin Park. There are good restaurants and coffee shops and places to get groceries within walking distance or a short ride away. Lots of rickshaws in the area and Uber worked fine.

Dhaka air quality is abominable. Ask for an air purifier for your room if you are concerned. Also, mosquitoes have become a year-round phenomenon in Dhaka, and a few get into the rooms. The housekeeping staff are careful not to leave doors open, and will use bug spray if you want.

By the end of our two months at Space Apartments the staff felt like family. We will happily stay here again.

Always trying to stay there when I am in Dhaka for work. Location, facilities and staff are way above standard and give you the feeling of your own home. Highly recommended for everyone staying staying longer in Dhaka.
Only thing that could be improved is the WiFi speed.

Breakfast can be eaten on the first floor, and you can eat the buffet of your choice and the dishes of your choice.
Room service is also inexpensive and delicious food is delivered.
There is a sink and kitchen so you can cook.

I stayed at Space Apartments June to August 2023 and again for 30 days starting in mid-December 2023. Space provided excellent service throughout both stays. They are attentive and helpful with all requests. When my room had problems with the WiFi, they created a new Wi-Fi connection that worked perfectly. This kind of personal solution is rare and highly appreciated. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and it is so nice to have a separate bedroom and even a kitchen. The restaurant has excellent meals and an excellent team. Space is located on a quiet street in one of Dhaka’s top residential neighborhoods. Restaurants and shopping are only a short walk away. I highly recommend Space Apartments.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Space Apartment in Gulshan 2, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The hotel's staff were incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The level of cleanliness throughout the entire facility was impeccable, making me feel comfortable and secure during my stay.

One standout feature was the on-site restaurant, offering a delightful culinary experience. The food was not only delicious but also showcased a diverse and well-curated menu. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste truly elevated my dining experience.

It was a pleasant experience to be back to the Space Apartment almost after four years (We haven't been to Bangladesh since the COVID). Since we first discovered the Space Apartment in Dhaka around 2016 as a boutique hotel like apartment --- which reminded me of my pleasant experiences of living in traditional, friendly
family-run "pensions" in Firenze and Verona in the 1980s -- we have always found staying at the Space very comfortable due to various reasons.

Besides good food prepared by it's Chefs Suren, Richard and others -- who have always gone out of their ways to prepare varieties of breakfasts to our liking -- all staff have also been so helpful and friendly, they have tried to do everything they possibly could to make our stay at the Space as good as it possibly could be. In this respect, we fondly remember the services provided by Messrs. Rajon, Shawon, Shihab and Rony from Foods and Beverages section as well as Messrs. Kamrul Islam, Nazmul Islam and Sharif from the House Keeping section. From the Front Office Monirul Islam and colleagued as well as the staff from the Security section have also been very courteous and helpful.

For any tourist(s) visiting Dhaka the Space Apartment's spacious rooms with plenty of natural lights in a relatively quite area of the leafy suburb of Gulshan 2 would be a special attraction (We, indeed, loved it). Another plus point is its strategic location-- walking distance to the main shopping area around the Gulshan 2 crossing.

Last but Not Least, a note of praise for the Proprietor and Chairman of the Space Apartments, Mr Bazlul Haque, and his able son Arman for taking personal as well as aesthetic interests in doing their best to maintain/sustain the 'family friendly' nature of their boutique apartment- even against the backdrop of the post-COVID volatile business situation in Dhaka. I am sure the new Deputy General Manager Mr Mohammed Tarek has been a great help in that endeavour. We are also thankful to Ms Jhumpa from the Marketing section for enticing us back to the Space Apartments when we decided to fly to Dhaka after almost four years.

I stayed at Space Apartments for almost a month and was very satisfied with my stay. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and will make your stay most comfortable and memorable. With regard to the staff, there was Rashed, who left no wish unfullfilled. All my requests were handled in due time.
A big plus is that Space is located in a very quiet area in Dhaka. Highly recommended!
