Deux nuits à Sousse
Pros:

Hôtel à l’entrée de la médina par la place des martyrs, juste derrière la grande mosquée. Accueil 24/24. Calme, chambres simples mais spacieuses, excellent petit déjeuner. Parking juste à l’extérieur des remparts à 2,5 DT par heure le jour, gratuit la nuit.

Cons:

Le chauffage très peu performant mais des couvertures sont à disposition dans la chambre.

- Tolle Lage, direkt am Rande der Medina, die große Moschee und der Ribat sind direkt um die Ecke
- die Zimmer sind schlicht eingerichtet, ich habe es aber dennoch als gemütlich empfunden

Cons:

Nach dem Duschen bleibt der Badezimmerboden ewig lange nass, weil das Wasser nicht wirklich abläuft

The location is marvelous, it was very clean, with a lot of space and the staff was so kind to us.

Personnel tres aimable a l'accueil. Emplacement parfait a l'entrée de la médina. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Bonne literie.

Cons:

Aucun porte-serviettes ni crochets dans la salle d'eau pour accrocher les serviettes et les vêtements.
Cloisons légères.

메디나 한가운데에 있고 모든 직원들은 항상 웃는 얼굴로 인사를 합니다. 환전도 도와줬고 아침은 너무 맛있었어요. 특히나 내부 디자인이 아주 예쁩니다.

Pros:

I first visited the Hotel Medina nearly 30 years ago when I called in for a coffee during a visit to Sousse. I was taken then with the delightful courtyard. I promised myself then that one day I would stay here. We stayed here for two nights and I was not disappointed. The courtyard was as delightful as I remembered it to be. We were given a very friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our room. We had a large airy room with a large en-suite and outside we had use of a shared terrace that was full of sunshine in the afternoon. As the name implies, the hotel is right on the edge of the Medina and the main Souks of Sousse making for a very convenient location. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful and I can recommend the coffee! There is public car parking available for a small fee just a short walk away. There are plenty of original features in the public areas of the hotel making it a joy to walk around.

A family Palace inside the Medina

If someone wants to be inside the Medina in a classical family Palace this is excellent

Pros:

I highly recommend Hotel Medina. It's definitely worth the price. The positioning is perfect: in front of the Grand Mosque, inside the Medina.

It's 3 minutes from the fortress with its tower that offers a great view over the whole city (I recommend you visit it).

It's 15 minutes away from the public beach. It's easy to catch a taxi in front of the hotel that isn't expensive if you ask them to use the meter.
We reached the central louage station by taxi within 10 minutes and paid 2.5 dinars. From there, we went to Kairouan and El Jem.

I spoke English, French, and Arabic to the receptionists and the personnel. Their proficiency is high.

The room is great, equipped with a bathroom and two separate rooms for me and my mum. It even has a heater for warmth during winter, a cupboard, and a mirror.

Cons:

It's a bit noisy during prayers because we're close to the mosque. I woke up early because of that, but on the other hand, you can experience the wonderful, charming Islamic chants from the minarets.

A fridge would serve well. I couldn't put my drinks anywhere.

In general, a great place to stay.

La localisation de l'hôtel est parfaite pour visiter Sousse, la chambre triple est très grande avec deux lits doubles, deux chambres. L hôtel est très propre.
Le petit déjeuner servi à table est copieux

L humidité de l hôtel, l absence de ménage le deuxième jour. L absence de table ou chaises sur le balcon

Good location, clean, let us keep our bicycles in the lobby, friendly staff. Breakfast was good and had different items served each morning.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke from people (staff) smoking in the lobby even though we were on the second floor.
