Georgia Mare

Georgia Mare is a wonderful hotel. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The breakfasts are excellent. The location is very good, away from the tourist area but easy to walk to. Superb restaurants are 4-5 minutes away. But the part is Spiros the owner. He is so kind, helpful and genuine, a truly wonderful person who made our stay special.

Spiros (owner) and his team were fantastic! They gave us loads of recommendations of places to go curated from the experience of people that stayed before and personal favourites. Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast an absolute treat!

Spiros and Fouli were wonderful hosts. We had a fabulous time at Georgie Mare. An easy 15 min walk from the ferry, very convenient to beaches and bars, and Spiros was a wealth of information about Naxos. We loved the breakfast and beautiful little touches in the room and around the hotel made our stay so memorable. Highly recommended.

Excellent welcome by the host Spiros. He suggested the sights to visit in Naxos and the best places to eat. The room was very spacious. Location of the hotel is brilliant, the beach, shops and port are all within walking distance. The breakfast was too good and had lots of variety. Enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

For starters, the owner, Spiros, is an incredible host! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island - places to go, good restaurants, and even provides helpful info on how to navigate more hidden spots. His staff is also amazing; very friendly and kind. Breakfast each morning is all fresh and delicious - egg dishes, pastries (sweet and savory), local cheeses, veggies, breads, yogurt- it is an unbelievable spread. Fresh linens and towels everyday and if you need beach towels, they have some you can borrow. We had the best time and can't wait to return!

Spiros is the most welcoming host we’ve ever encountered in our travels. We felt like we were special guests! He’s available 24/7 and even leaves his number in case you have a problem during your stay. Breakfast was great with many homemade goodies. The beach is a short walk from the property. This is not a fancy hotel, but had all the amenities we needed.

Highly recommend! It is steps from the beach (Saint George) and a ten minute stroll from the Old Town and a 15 minute walk from Portara (Temple of Apollo). Friendliest most accommodating staff! Spiro and Stella are excellent! Provide recommendations and anything you need. The price cannot be beat for the service and location.

Excellent accueil, chambre spatieuse et lit King size super confortable, belle petite terrasse. Très bon petit déjeuner. À 10 minutes du centre ville à pied et à 1 minute de la plage.

Best customer services I've ever had, the man at the front desk was amazing. Showed us the best places to go even had a map for us. I booked a single bed by accident he fixed it and had us ready in minutes. I would stay there everytime im on that island

Siros is the best and sweetest host you can ask for. He gave the best recommendations for restaurants and how to navigate the city. I rented a car from nearby street and the whole trip was memorable.

Beautiful room very conveniently located, free parking nearby, St. George’s Beach steps away. This is a perfect location to stay. You can walk by to the port. City comes to life at night and it’s completely safe to walk From hotel to Port and back, even after midnight.

This gem of a property is truly exceptional! We loved our stay at Georgia Mare! Spiros, Stella, and team are amazing, and hotel is so lovely. It’s spotlessly clean, and the decor is fresh, tasteful and simple and inspires a relaxed vibe. The breakfast was delicious. I’ve never had better scrambled eggs and the homemade pies, cakes, and pastries were out of this world. The beach is right there and a 5 minute walk will get you to the Naxos Chora where there are many waterfront / seaside bars, cafes and the market. We followed many of Spiros’ and Stella’s suggestions for restaurants, car rental(OceanBlue Cars), places of interest and all were excellent! They genuinely want their guests to have the best experience possible. We were made to feel right at home in Naxos and hope to go back to Georgia Mare someday soon! We miss it already.

This is just a fantastic small family run hotel. The staff are the absolute best. Just always there to help with anything, from getting a taxi to opening a locked door and always with a smile. The room was comfortable and cozy. Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
