I have stayed at this property four times and I have liked it every time.
Pros:

Cooperation, courtesy and hospitality at the front desk and the Manipura restaurant.

Cons:

A little bit of hygienic lapses during serving the food.

Nice hotel but hidden tax on check out.
Pros:

Service provided by the bell boys was really good, all questions were answered to satisfaction, the options available for breakfast buffet, hot water for the shower, the hotel was nice and quiet.

Cons:

The walls in the room could do with a lick of paint. The price on this site didn't reflect the tax that I had to pay on top. I was charged $62.65 instead of $46.80!

Comfortable hotel with excellent location to visit Central and Old Dhaka
Pros:

Excellent location (near a metro station and walking distance from Ramna Park/National Museum/Old Dhaka), which is comfortable as the traffic can be horrendous.
Very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast (variety and quantity), excellent restaurant ; very friendly and helpful staff.
Reliable transfer from the airport.
Very nice in season : outside rooftop café.

Cons:

Room a bit cold at night in winter (tiles flooring), but it also means the floor is spotless very clean!

Pros:

Great staff, great food and breakfast, great location, good room quiet in the heart of the city.
I took a motorbike taxi from the airport (outside the airport on far left) to Uttara Metrostation (200 taka), the metro all the way to Secretariat. 100 metres from metro exit you find the hotel. By metro I visited Liberation Museum and Portugese church so easy to avoid the trafficjams. Motortaxi to Sadarghat 200 taka, allow 45 minutes.

Food is excellent! Mango lassi favourite drink.

Cons:

Price on higher end.
