Great value for money

Close to the square, that's about it.
Pros:

Shower pressure is super weak but at least it's warm.
Take down those Netflix signs, your WiFi barely works. Shows strong signal but cuts out every couple of minutes.
Luggage storage for overnights on the lake but I caught the night manager sleeping on all the luggage in the storage room.
Pillows are awful. You'd be more comfortable with a rolled up towel.
Not the hostel's fault but the dog next door is really annoying and barks all night.

Good hostel for backpackers!
Pros:

Staff were friendly, free cocoa tee (to help acclimatize), free use of computer and printer. WiFi was good. Didn't eat at this hostel but it had use of a kitchen as well. Room was clean, we also had a sliding door to a small terrace. Bathroom was clean and there was hot water. Overall, I would recommend this hostel to backpackers looking for a clean, affordable accommodation in Puno.

An amazing little hostel in Puno
Pros:

The staff of a hostel make or break the place. The staff at Cozy are amazing. They are attentive, care about their guests and are happy to provide directions or extra eggs at breakfast. While the building isn't well heated, it is made very comfortable by extra blankets and the warmth of the atmosphere. They arrange cultural dancers every few days and it was an amazing time. I would strongly encourage you to stay here.
