Older hotel, great location and great people with a big heart.
Pros:

Location is excellent. Great people.

Cons:

I wish they could put a little more effort into their breakfast, many. Although it has variety, the mixture is not great. Also, the food was cold. Little TLC should do the trick.

Hotel fakes pictures on booking.com to attract travelers, while in reality quality is poor.
Pros:

There were 2 things that I liked
- downstairs caffee with the bartender, who was attentive, nice and working with quality
- rooftop swimming pool- indeed it is a great experience to go for a swim in the morning

Cons:

I travel to Dhaka for business, therefore expect predictable quality and comfort so I can rest, but...

1)This hotel presents on booking.com things which don't match the reality: breakfast - there is a dedicated picture of great breakfast with a lot of continental elements. Reality is - breakfast is really limited and disappointing. I find it as a huge issue, as some of booking.com pictures are fake and misleading.
2) hotel room - is worn out, shower and bathroom show history of multiple low quality repairs and things don't function properly
3) internet didn't work well, you need to call somebody who comes to your room and replugs a router in the room, so internet is back
4) the hotel room downgraded my room w/o telling me. I needed to complain 3 days in the row, so the case is solver- I heard the excuse the "manager is only in the morning", as I came in the morning "manager is only in the evening"

for me the hotel represents low quality, stress and cheating.

Pros:

The rooms have huge beds that are very comfortable. Regarding the location, it is centrally located. It’s not something that you can walk from. You have to have a vehicle, and most tourists will get an Uber or local taxi.

Cons:

While reviewing the reviews, I saw another guest mentioned their room wasn't ready and they were given something else. I experienced a similar situation; I did receive nice rooms, but not the one I paid for because it wasn't ready. Hopefully, this was just an isolated inconvenience I faced, but I suggest you keep an eye on this issue.

A very comfortable luxury hotel in center of Gulshan with great service
Pros:

Swimming pool on the rooftop was a delight

Cons:

Rooftop restaurant and bar was empty, no atmoshpere. Breakfast in hotel was good, but the "take on" breakfast ordered for the day I left early to airport was not at all what I had ordered. Disappointing

Small things can spoil your stay
Pros:

Location was perfect

Cons:

Reception Staff was very awkward on making decisions. My room was downgraded as they full filled my wish that 2 rooms on the same floor. But they did not give any compensation. I was fair and said please give free shuttle service to the airport but they have refused.

Great stay, absolutely great staff and even greater food. Loved it!
Pros:

Hotel is great, especially the staff, very attentive. The staff on the roof top restaurant were amazing and the food, don’t get me started. I cant remember the last time I had a meal that was so fresh, delicious. Honestly, it was a meal to remember, especially the egg bhuna, prawn bhuna and butter chicken.

I would go back for the food and service from staff. Can’t fault the hotel.

Cons:

Only downside, which is not major. Slight complication at the time of checking in but was resolved by the manager.

Pros:

Everything was great, the room, the staff and the restaurant on the roof. There was also a pool on the roof with nice views. It is located in a quiet area of Dhaka, good restaurants and shopping close by.
