We had an exceptional stay, the hotel and location are beautiful and the staff and facilities exceptional!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location to explore the three cities and be slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Valetta.

Cons:

Nothing it was brilliant. Would recommend to anyone visiting Malta.

Pros:

Die Duplex Suute ist der Wahnsinn. Lage top, Personal freundlich aber muss dringend geschult werden, vorallem im Resraurant.

Cons:

Unwissendes Personal, und dass die Shampoo und Shower Gels in den Suiten mit Wasser verdünnt werden. Absolute Frechheit.

Nice historical place to stay
Pros:

The location is beautiful. Surroundings are nice and many good restaurants. Easy to take the ferry to Valletta.
The staff is very attentive and helpful. Special mention to the Spanish young guys.
Breakfast à la cart with some good options.
Lovely terrace and rooftop

Cons:

The room had very good size and lovely views however no the expected standards of a five stars hotel. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesdays so we didn’t have the chance to experience it.
The building restoration is interesting however the interior design is poor.
We found some issues with cleaning in some common areas (lift, rooftop, cleaning trolley parked in a side of the main staircase in the evening,…) and of course, the house keeper making noice at 7am! A classic

Fabulous.
Pros:

Everything was lovely. In communication with my husband, the staff arranged a birthday surprise - flowers, balloons, Prosecco, macaroons, and a Happy Birthday banner and silk petals decorated the bed. The Prosecco and macaroons were a gift from the hotel. The breakfast menu was varied; the food fresh and tasty. The bed was really comfortable. All the staff were friendly, helpful and smiley. A beautiful hotel with fantastic views from the roof terrace.

Cons:

Artificial room fragrance sticks are common these days, but we found they made the room claustrophobic. Natural ventilation meant opening the balcony door. This turned off the air conditioning unit, which makes sense. The weather was chilly so access to fresh air in the room was limited.

Cons:

La première nuit, notre chambre - bien que très belle - n’avait pas de vraie fenêtre et donnait sur le couloir. Et cela nous a donné l’impression de dormir dans une grotte! Après avoir réclamé, on nous a donné une chambre avec vue sur le port et tout était parfait.
