I have stayed at the 'Leet Dorian' for three weeks during June and July of 2021, this is my second trip to the hotel this year.

The owner JF is a great guy who is extremely sociable, he has a wonderful staff who are very helpful.

Food is excellent especially the evening meal though during this pandemic and because there are not many guests the menu is set.

Rooms are bright and cheerful with comfy beds and big bathrooms.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a very well- maintained hotel with a kind and attentive staff. It's location is suited best to those with business downtown. Most taxi drivers, however, will not know it, so you should know the landmarks nearby: Air France building on the main highway, for instance. There is a decent petit dejeuner, but no eggs.

Very near the office I was visiting, so it made my commute very simple, wished that they had hot food for breakfast but I guess thats not how they do it hear

Excellent food, excellent internet connection, very clean, smiling staff ready to help.
I enjoyed the sunny room, the big, comfortable bed and the cheery bathroom.
The painting exposition with African painters offered moments of people enjoying life and aspects of modernism in painting.

A big thankyou to J-F, Zenab and the rest of the team at Leet Dorian for making a three-week stay in Libreville as painless as possible.
The rooms are pretty basic ... spacious, with fridge, A/c, TV, safe, etc ... but spotlessly clean with constant hot water and good internet connection. Laundry is extra.
Hotel lobby/bar/restaurant also basic ... but livened up by interesting artwork and (more interesting) a cheerful proprietor.
Continental breakfast included (coffee/tea, croissant, baguette, fruit, yoghurt ...), good selection of snacks and meals available lunch and evening (except Sundays!).
Several mid-priced restaurants nearby (not all up to scratch ... seek JF's advice) and a short taxi ride from almost everywhere else in town (cruising taxis pass in front at all hours of the day ... and night).
Will certainly come back if I return to Gabon ... as long as JF is holding the reins.

This is a small hotel where the owner/manager is always present.

The exterior is small and unassuming, however, one should not be put off by the size of the exterior. The lobby area is compact and has a seating area as well as a small bar and of course the reception desk. The furniture/furnishings are well-kept, the air conditioner works well, and the lobby is clean.

The lobby/desk/wait staff are pleasant and polite.

There are some rooms off the lobby of the main floor as well as rooms on the upper floor that one has to use a narrow circular staircase to access.

The rooms are spartan but for the purposes well-equipped. More particularly, and perhaps, of importance is the bathrooms are well tiled and absolutely immaculate. The shower area is separate from the rest of the bathroom by a tiled wall. There is no shortage of hot water.

The bedroom area is well-equipped. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioner works well, the cupboard is adequate, and the desk area is suitabl and well lit. Their only two drawbacks; the television, that works very well, has only limited stations and for Anglophones only CNN; the Internet is spotty/sporadic.

All in all this is a perfectly acceptable property and one that I would have no hesitation in returning to.

We were recommended the Leet hotel by our business partners in Gabon, so we went with our eyes closed, trusting their judgment.

The management and staff at the hotel was able to open our eyes about Gabon, give us great tips and a very personal welcome. It was our first time in Gabon and we will be back, thanks to the kindness and efficiency of the management and staff at the hotel.

It is a human-sized hotel, with clean rooms, great service and good local food with a JF twist!

I went to this hotel yesterday to try to rent 5 rooms for work colleagues who are coming to Libreville. The woman at the front desk was both rude and unhelpful, and refused to give me a price quote for their conference room, even though I was incredibly polite. She was completely uninterested in helping me with information, at one point yelling at me "who told you to come to this hotel?". It was a completely baffling experience, and contrary to some of the reviews here. I would NOT recommend this hotel! I eventually made reservations at Hotel Akewa, where the rooms are less expensive, the people are very friendly, speak English, and the hotel itself is very clean and attractive.

A quick checklist one executes while considering a hotel for stay when you visit an African country :
1. Is the location of hotel safe : Absolutely safe, one can afford to walk out alone at any hour of the day
2. How is the service : The staff is friendly, absolutely committed to serve their guests and ensure they have a great stay
3. how are the rooms and wi-fi etc : a very lively place with great interiors and 24*7 wi-fi.
4. how is the food & bar : Good

My experience : After arriving in the city where life is difficult if you do not speak french, Leet Dorian was a life saver. The staff at the hotel ensures that you have a perfect stay. They are prompt with their service and very professional. The manager and the owner are always around to interact with the guests and take care of their satisfaction.

Staff is very helpful and super friendly. Food is lovely.
we stay there often and it feels like home away from home.
most the staff can speak English, wich is a great help for the non french speakers.
Just a nice place to to relax and have a special ganbonese cocktail.

It is not pretending be a multi-star hotel. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. A special mention to Jeff ( the owner) who makes a point to speak to his customers. The restaurant offers a simple but good food for either lunch or dinner ( no dinner on sunday).
The breakfast could be better as it is only continental( no eggs...).
All in all definitely an option to consider if you are looking for a comfortable inn.

As a lot of places in Libreville, this is again an hotel very simple, not very clean, bed are not comfortable, bathroom smelling, air con very noisy, old place and staff are there cleaning their nails when you are waiting for you key or to ask them information... They just don't care about you! Breakfast very poor.

Rooms were so smelly! Is definitely not a place for family or business travellers. More like a place established for sexually frustated people! I am pretty sure there are prostitutes coming in this hotel very often. Changed my hotel after one night.

Disclaimer: all my reviews are relative to local conditions and relative to the rates. So a cheap place with five stars may not be as 'good' as an expensive place with three stars and a hotel in Brazzaville will be judged by a different standard than a hotel in London.

I deliberately chose the same title as the person who reviewed before me, because it hits the nail on its head.

Location: good. Staff: OK - better than at the expensive hotels. Value: terrible. For roughly the same amount (OK, slightly more, but not much) you can stay at the Okoume Palace.

This place is fine, but overpriced. In that, it is the essence Libreville. I find it unjustified that this hotel is so high up in the ratings in Libreville, because it is an upgraded Formula 1 hotel and ab-so-lute-ly not worth the 100 Euros charged.

The rooms are clean but basic and no cleaner than the sunset beach which is way cheaper. The location is slightly better, The breakfast is poor. Just order coffee (deep black: excellent!) and some toast. at this price point, breakfast should be included.

This is a place that in other cities would be classified as a hostel. I think that sums it all up. It is not a hotel by any standards. Had it been a hostel and 40 Euros a night, I would have given it a five star rating. The value for money is poor.

The service of the people running it is good though. They helped me well with the visa requirements and sent a driver to pick me up from the airport. Except that the driver charged four times as much as they wrote he would charge.

One final note about the mattresses, which people seem to complain about. I thought they were excellent! It's memory foam. Yes, it's a bit of a hard kind of memory foam, but not as in: bunk bed. Good stuff! I like!

Hotel Dorian / L.E.E.T. Hmmm…I can’t recall hating a hotel as much as these two conjoined hotels in a long, long time. If you want to feel like you slept inside a lit cigarette all night, check into this place. To describe the service as pathetic is far too kind.

Filthy, smelly, indifferent or rude.....what more could you ask for?

Gabon and Libreville aren't really catered for tourists. But if you choose to go there for whatever reason. Don't go to Leet hotel because its cosy, friendly, clean, central, safe, or even for the great food. Go there for the amazing host, who went out of his way to make my stay beyond pleasant. Next to have lunch with other guests or receiving free drinks, they also supported in the few challenges I faced.
- I lost my luggage and didn't have anything, they helped me out
-I had money issues, since my credit cards didnt work, they helped me out
- Travelling to parks wasn't easy, they gave advice and helped me out

You can instantly feel that this place has the type of inviting atmosphere that you can pay for, but only discover. Only recommending this place wouldn't be enough, just experience it!

We went there because Lonely Planet gave it a good review and noted it as "Editor's Pick". When we hopped into a taxi at Libreville Airport, the taxi driver did not know where it was. Hence, we directed the taxi to a part of town where it was noted on the LP map. However, it could not be found there and we eventually found it 1km away after the taxi driver rang his friends. The hotel is not only known solely as Hotel Leet (NOT Le Dorian) but is located in the middle of a quiet, dodgy looking neighbourhood. You wouldn't want to wander around at night or weekend day time.

The rooms are clean, very nicely done up and comfortable, but hugely overpriced at FCFA 70,000 (about US$140). It is far away from town restaurants and unless you have your own vehicle, you have no choice but to have dinner there. Half the items on the menu is not available and what is available is mediocre and expensive at best.

The staff were indifferent and could not speak English at all.
