For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester. * WHEN...For early this morning. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, The creek floods adjacent open land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:01 AM EDT Monday the stage was 7.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 2.7 feet and then begin rising this afternoon. It will then rise again to 2.8 feet this afternoon. It will fall to 2.3 feet and then begin rising just after midnight tonight. It will then rise again to 2.5 feet late tonight. It will fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.2 feet on 03/29/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Pennsylvania, including the following county, Delaware. * WHEN...Until 545 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 137 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Spring Run has flooded with Ridley Creek, Chester Creek, and Darby Creek all rising or in flood. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
