Itinerary

    Vinicunca Mountain

    We will be picked up at 4:00 am to head south of Cusco in the direction of Qollasuyo. During the journey we will be accompanied by wonderful views of the Inca foundations, passing through Pitumarka, Chilca and finally Pampachiri from where we will begin our 2 hour hike up the mountains where we will experience climatic changes as we ascend until we reach the mountain “Vinicunca” or Rainbow Mountain. During the trek we will be able to appreciate the typical flora and fauna of the Andes such as viscachas, eagles, llamas, alpacas, among others, like the deer and the puma that are rarely seen. Also on the way we will enjoy wonderful views as the mountains that surround the road change color as we advance until we finally reach the Rainbow Mountain.
