Two Perspectives of the Citadel: You'll experience Machu Picchu twice. On the first day, you'll capture the classic postcard view from the upper sector (Circuit 1B), and on the second day, you'll thoroughly explore the temples and palaces of the Royal Route (Circuit 3B).

    CUSCO - KM 104 CHACHABAMBA - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

    * 4:30 AM – Departure from Cusco: Pick-up at your hotel for the 1.5-hour train ride to Ollantaytambo station. * 7:30 AM – Trekking Begins: After the train ride to Km 104, check in at the Chachabamba checkpoint to begin the Inca Trail. * Ascent to Wiñaywayna: A 3-hour hike up original Inca stairs to the archaeological site of Wiñaywayna (2,650 m), the most beautiful point on the route. * Arrival at Intipunku: Another 1.5-hour hike to reach the Sun Gate at 2:00 PM, entering Machu Picchu like the ancient Incas. * Machu Picchu Tour: Guided tour of the Panoramic Circuit 1B (upper trail) to capture the best photos and learn about the history of the citadel. * * Closing in Aguas Calientes: Bus descent to the town so you can enjoy your dinner on your own and rest in your chosen hotel.

    * Morning – Ascent to Machu Picchu: After breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, you will meet your guide to ascend by bus to the Inca citadel. * Tour – Circuit 3B (Royal Route): You will explore the lower area of the citadel, where the most important structures are located, such as the Temple of the Sun, the Inca's House, and the pools, learning about their history and architecture. * Afternoon – Descent and Lunch: After the guided tour, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch on your own and to explore the town. * 6:20 PM – Return by Train: You will board the train back from the Aguas Calientes station to Ollantaytambo (subject to availability). * 10:00 PM – Arrival in Cusco: In Ollantaytambo, your tourist transport will be waiting for you for the final transfer to the city of Cusco, thus concluding the adventure.
