Our 2-day Machu Picchu tour combining comfort, personalized service, and a complete experience. Unlike rushed day trips, you will enjoy flexible schedules, a scenic train ride, overnight accommodation in a carefully selected 3-star hotel, and the expertise of a professional guide for an in-depth cultural visit. You’ll also have free time to relax in Aguas Calientes and explore at your own pace, creating the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.
If the hotel is not within our pick-up point, we have a meeting point in Plaza Regocijo Cusco.
We will begin our tour with pickup from your hotel or meeting point, then transfer to the Inca Rail station. From there, we’ll board a tourist bus to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). Upon arrival, we will purchase the entrance tickets to the Machu Picchu citadel, and then head to the hotel for check-in and accommodation. The afternoon will be free for you to rest or explore the charming town of Aguas Calientes at your own pace.
Machu Picchu, the majestic Lost City of the Incas, is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and a true symbol of Peru. Built in the 15th century by Inca Pachacutec, it stands at 2,430 meters above sea level, nestled between the Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu mountains, surrounded by lush jungle and the Urubamba River. During your visit, you will explore temples, terraces, and sacred enclosures that reflect the grandeur of the Inca Empire, such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Sacred Plaza. Rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, this sanctuary continues to amaze travelers from around the world. We recommend bringing your original passport, comfortable clothing, sunblock, and a rain poncho. Machu Picchu offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience where history, nature, and Andean energy unite in perfect harmony.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will board a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once there, we’ll enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour through the alleys, terraces, and passages of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. After the visit, we’ll return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then continue by tourist bus to your hotel in Cusco.
