The Humantay Lake tour is one of the unique and beautifull natural places in Cusco.
This is a magical, charming, hypnotizing turquoise lake that is surrounded by imposing glaciers that are part of the Andes Mountains, among them the majestic Salkantay and Humantay Snowy Mountains. The melting of these snow-capped mountains gives rise to the splendid Humantay lagoon, which will transform your way of seeing nature, enjoying the flora and fauna that will be recorded in your mind and in the wonderful snapshots of the place.

1Humantay Lake
We will pick up you at the hotel, (7:00am) we will start our adventure to the Humantay Lake with 3 hour-drive pass through different towns in private transport to Soraypampa (3850 m.s.n.m.). Once we arrive to Soraypampa we will start our trek up to the Humantay Lake (4200 m.s.n.m.). with breathtaking views and if the sky is clear enough, we can see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay. It is a 1.5-hour-walk to the lake with a low to moderate difficulty, and more than worth it when you see the mystic and magic view. It is also possible to rent a horse instead. We will have enough time to take pictures, bring an offer to the Apus. After some free time, we will start our descent to Soraypampa of about 1.5 hours, which is a lot easier than the way up. In Soraypampa lunch will await for us and after to rest we return to Cusco where we will arrive at 6 p.m.
