    Qorikancha

    Then we will visit the Temple of Coricancha also known as "Golden Temple or Temple of the Sun God" it was the most important temple for the Inca empire on which it was built the Convent of Santo Domingo in the colony, later we´ll visit the 4 ruins close to Cusco:

    Sacsayhuaman

    The archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, is strategically built on a mountain from which it is possible to appreciate a view of the whole city of Cusco. It is famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them are 9 meters or 30 feet tall and weighing over 350 tons, on this place is held every year the Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun. Then you will visit the archaeological site of Kenko, means labyrinth or zigzag, it had a purely religious function and where it is believed that the Incas mummified their dead, on the outside has an amphitheater in a semicircular shape with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that simulates a puma shape which has about six meters. Then we’ll go to the site of Puka Pukara which means "red fortress" because the calcareous stones of the buildings of this site have acquired the reddish color of the ground. This place had the function of protecting Tambomachay, an important palace in the Incas time. And also for its architectural layout and the existence of sources, aqueducts and multiple enclosures, it would have been a "tambo", a collective lodge offering food and accommodation to the entourage that accompanied the Inka in his retirement to Tambomachay. As a last point we’ll visit Tambomachay archaeological site, located about 8 kms. north of Cusco and close to the ruins of Puka Pucara, it’s an Incan site that is believed was dedicated to the worship of water and where the Leader of the Inca Empire come to rest. This place is also called Inca Baths and consists of a series of aqueducts, canals and several waterfalls that run through the rocks.     Parque Arqueologico Pisac

    This day we will visit the "Sacred Valley of the Incas" The tour starts at 07:40 AM in the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel to go to Pisac, where we will visit the famous market of crafts as well as the archaeological site of Pisac with picturesque. terraces on the mountains after which we head to Urubamba where we can enjoy a buffet lunch with a variety of typical Peruvian dishes

    Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

    Then we’ll visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, it would have been a Tambo or accommodation place in the Incas time. It was named in honor of the Chief Ollanta, famous for his affair with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacutec Inca. Ollantaytambo is the only city of the Incas in Peru which is still inhabited.

    Complejo Arqueologico Chinchero

    Then You will go to the village of Chinchero, were we`ll visit the archaeological site which was an Inca temple, and then at the colonial time, it was built a catholic temple over it, this is the highest place we’ll visit in the sacred valley. In this point You are going to visit also a place where local people do textiles using similar Inca Process. At the end You will come back to Cusco. Aprox. Time 19:00 hrs.

    In the morning we will pick up you from your hotel in Cusco at (04:00 AM or 05:30 according train ticket availability) to take you to Ollantaytambo train station (car trip of 1 hour and 40 minutes approx.). Once at Ollantaytambo train station at 6:10 a.m. We will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (train trip of about 2 hours). On the train journey you will enjoy beautiful and charming landscapes with mountains and jungle from southern of Peru.

    Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes)

    Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), our staff will be waiting to give you all the indications, you will have free time to have breakfast in the town of Machu Picchu (breakfast on your own), then we will take you to the bus station, where you will board the bus that makes a zigzag path to the mountain where Machu Picchu is located (bus trip of 30 minutes). Then we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you must present your tickets and respective identification documents, from this place you will start the guided tour in the citadel of Machu Picchu, visit the main venues of the city with our guide who will give you all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, we will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, among others, on your way we invite you to open the senses and fill with the great energy that hides this majestic place. At appropiate time you will take the bus from the entrance of Machu Picchu to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can take your lunch in one of the restaurants of the city. where you can optionally visit the Hot Springs in Aguas Calientes north of the town. At the appointed time 06:00 PM you will take the train to go back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (train trip of 2 hours appox.), where our staff will be waiting for you with a board with your name to take you to the city of Cusco. Arrival time to Cusco 10:30 PM approximately. (20:30 hrs or 12:00 hrs according to train availability and your preferences).

    We will pick you up early 04:30 am from your hotel in Cusco and we will go by tourist transportation to the South of Cusco. The trip takes about 3 hours to reach the town of Cusipata, where you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge the batteries. Then we’ll start our trek. You will be amazed immediately by the beauty scenic, flora and fauna with herds of alpacas and llamas and you’ll have incredible views of the Ausangate Mountain. Our walk will go through typical villages where we can interact with local people. After a walk for about 2 to 1.5 hours, we’ll finally arrive to our destination, what we came to see!!! ... Vinincunca or "Mountain of seven colors" (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). On the top we can appreciate the beautiful and magical mountain rainbow Area, as well as the Ausangate one of the most revered mountains in the region, here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. Later we will return the walk downhill to the village Quesiuno, where we’ll recharge energy with a delicious lunch. Finally we’ll return to Cusco by transportation.
