After 5-hour hiking, take your short time to have lunch in Playa Sahuayaco. Then continue on a beautiful original Inca trail ascending towards the Llaqtapata camp. It is the best camp for the classic 5-day Salkantay trek because you will spend the night in front of the Inca city of Machu Picchu, you will appreciate the beautiful sunset and sunrise, and without a doubt, you will have beautiful panoramic views. Today is such an important day because you will visit one of the 7 wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. Have your breakfast at the hotel and then go up to the Inca city of Machu Picchu for the assigned shift. You can go by bus (1 hour before) or walk (for 1 hour and a half). The guided tour inside the lost city of the Incas will last 2 and a half hours and if you have reserved the permit to climb the mountain Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu, after the excursion, you can climb on your own.
