This one-day Waqrapukara trek offers a rare chance to explore one of Peru’s hidden archaeological gems, far from the tourist crowds. Unlike more frequented trails, this journey takes you deep into the Andean highlands to a fortress still shrouded in mystery. You'll witness breathtaking natural landscapes, including the stunning Apurímac Canyon and the peaceful Pomacanchi Lagoon, all while walking ancient paths once traveled by Incan messengers.

What sets this experience apart is the perfect mix of adventure and cultural immersion. You'll explore a remote site with professional guides who bring its rich pre-Inca and Inca history to life. Whether it’s the tranquility of your lakeside breakfast, the drama of the canyon views, or the majestic silence at Waqrapukara itself — every moment feels personal, meaningful, and off the beaten path.

This isn’t just a trek. It’s a connection to the soul of the Andes.
