This train ride takes one hour and 45 minutes to Km 104, where we will disembark to meet your trekking chef and porters. Day 2: Machu Picchu (The lost city of the Incas) and return to Cusco We will have a two-hour private guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu, with all its fascinating history. Afterwards we will have to take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and then take the velta train to Ollantaytambo. From there, you will go in a private transport back to the city of Cusco, arriving there we will drop you off at your hotel.
The Hot Springs in Aguas Calientes are a great way to relax after a day of hiking or exploring Machu Picchu. They’re located just a short walk (about 10 minutes) from the center of Aguas Calientes, nestled in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation.
