  We will pick you up very early from your Cusco hotel (5:00am) (time is very flexible) and set out on a beautiful drive through the South Valley. The drive to the trailhead at Palcoyo is about 3.5 hours where we will have a time to enjoy your snacks. After it, we will take a short, gradual uphill walk (20-30 minutes) to the Palcoyo Pass (5000m/16,400ft). Here you will have spectacular panoramic views of three Rainbow Mountain Palcoyo peaks as well as the highest mountain in the Cusco region (Ausangate Glacier). We will spend 1 hour at the pass taking pictures, having a snack, and enjoying the spectacular view & visiting the rocks valley in between. Once we are done enjoying the scenery we walk back down the way we came. We now take our private transport to the village called Checacupe where we will enjoy a break time for drinks around the magic of the willcamayu River shores. After taking some time, we will take our private transport back to your hotel in Cusco (about a 2 hour drive).

  Like the more famous Rainbow Mountain, Palccoyo Rainbows Mountain in Peru is a stunning example of naturally colorful geology, but Tres Rainbows can be reached with just 30 minutes of walking (approximately). During this full-day tour from Cusco, enjoy the mountain's natural beauty, and take plenty of pictures of this Rainbow Mountain alternative, which requires no strenuous activity.

This recently discovered group of rainbow-colored mountains is a stunning option away from the crowds. This option is great for those wanting to experience high mountain culture and some remote beauty, without the strenuous hiking. This is also a great option for families with children. Given good weather, we will spend 1-2 hours exploring the area, taking photographs, and enjoying a snacks and soft drinks. Rainbow Mountain Palcoyo, full day is ideal for anyone hoping to see the famous rainbow colored mountains, but not wanting to take the 6-hour trek. This tour is perfect for families and available for any level of hiker. Enjoy the amazing views of 3 different colored mountains at the same time! Along the way, you will also see many alpacas and llamas which are very common in that part of Peru.
