With this 5-day tour, we'll take you to explore the best of Cusco from the very beginning. We'll meet you at the airport and accompany you on a journey filled with history, landscapes, and experiences that will remain etched in your memory.
We begin with a City Tour of Cusco, the birthplace of the Inca Empire, where you'll discover temples, colonial streets, and ancient fortresses. The next day, you'll feel the energy of the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains and ancient villages. The adventure continues with the joy of travel: Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, where history comes alive among sacred stones and breathtaking landscapes.
And to top it all off, you'll conquer the magical Rainbow Mountain, a natural spectacle that seems painted by the Andean gods.
We conclude with your return transfer to the airport, ensuring your experience is comfortable and worry-free.
• P.m. Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station and transfer to Cusco (2 hour min). • Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
• Pick-up at the airport and transfer to your hotel • Cathedral: 13:00pm We start the City Tour by visiting the Cathedral with its more than 500 paintings and breath-taking architecture. • Koricancha: Next stop is Koricancha, the principal temple of the Incas. • Sacsayhuaman: We continue to the archeological sites situated outside of Cusco; the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a Stone fortress built by the Incas on three platforms. • Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths, considered a place for the worship of the water. • Qenko, here we can observe a huge Stone block that looks like a Puma as well as canals, passages and stairways engraved with animals • Pucapucara was an administrative and military center formed by passages, stairways, fortified towers and alcoves.
• Breakfast at the hotel • 8:00 a.m. The agency will pick you up at your hotel. • Pisac: The tour begins by visiting the archaeologic site of Pisac and the market with the same name, • Lunch buffet at Restaurant Tunupa that offers typical plates, novo andino food and food from the province of Urubamba. • Ollantaytambo: After our lunch we will visit the archaeologic site of Ollantaytambo where the village still keeps it’s splendor from the days of the Incas. Here we can get a glimpse of what this religious, military and cultural center was like. • Aguas Calientes: 16:36 p.m. We board our train that will take us to the village of Aguas Calientes. • 18:10 p.m. Arrival in the village of Aguas Calientes. • Pick-up at the train station in Aguas Calientes and meeting with the guide that will take us to Machupicchu tomorrow.
• Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes. • We take the bus to the Machu Picchu sanctuary at the time we agreed on with our guide. (30 min bus ride). • We present tour entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and begin our visit. • Our guide will give us a 2.5 hours guided tour. • After the guided tour we will have some time on our own to walk around in Machupicchu. • Return to the village of Aguas Calientes • Lunch buffet in Aguas Calientes (Restaurant el Apu Inti or Indio Feliz) • Time to visit the handicraft market in Aguas Calientes. • 14:36 or 19:00 p.m. We aboard the Inka Rail executive class train and return to Ollantaytambo (Travel time about 1 hour 40 min) • P.m. Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station and transfer to Cusco (2 hour min). • Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Important: Train schedules may vary depending on the season. If you wish to travel on the Perurail Vistadome or Inca Rail First Class train, you can do so by paying the corresponding difference.
• 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. hours Pick up from your hotel and start the trip. • After 2.00 hours in our transport we arrive to our restaurant in Cusipata where we will have a breakfast. • We will continue in our mobility for 1 hour until we reach our starting point of the walk. • We will walk 2Km approx. (1hr) through the mountains, enjoying our high Andean landscapes accompanied by the snowcapped mountains of our Andes, without a doubt the route rewards the long bus trip we made. • After 1.30 hours of walking we will arrive to our destination the mountain of colors where we will be able to enjoy the spectacle of colors that gives us the Pachamama (mother earth) we will have 40 min to enjoy the landscape. • After enjoying Rainbow Mountain, we'll begin our return hike downhill, making the journey easier. Around noon, we'll take the shuttle to Cusipata, where a nutritious buffet lunch awaits us. • Finally we will return to the city of Cusco where we will arrive at 17:00 hours approx.
