Be immersed in the fascinating San Pedro Market, where you'll discover a vast variety of local products. Learn about the history behind them and their impact on modern Peruvian gastronomy. Here, you'll taste traditional fruit juices made from local fruits.
Next, your guide will lead you through the picturesque streets of Cusco to the Plaza de Armas, where you'll try delicious Cusco tamales made from corn dough. Continuing the tour, we'll head to Santa Catalina Street, where you'll taste Picarones, a traditional Peruvian dessert similar to donuts, made from flour and pumpkin, fried and bathed in chancaca syrup.
Then, we'll visit a traditional venue on Choquechaka Street, where you'll sample Anticuchos, skewers of meat marinated in spices, traditionally made from beef heart and grilled. They are a tasty and popular dish.
Afterwards, we'll head to the upper part of Choquechaka Street, where you'll try Cusco empanadas, a tasty and popular snack. Here, you'll also see an Inca Aqueduct, an ancient hydraulic structure that reflects the advanced engineering of the Incas, guiding water through stone channels.
Finally, we'll go to the beautiful neighborhood of San Blas, where you'll visit a well-known local venue. Here, you can enjoy Causa Rellena and our traditional and representative Peruvian drink, the Pisco Sour.
