Hotel Pickup and Scenic Drive: Early in the morning, at approximately 4:00 a.m., our professional guide, driver, and private tourist vehicle will pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco (please wait inside the hotel). The journey takes about 3 hours, passing through spectacular high Andean landscapes and iconic mountains such as Ausangate.

Breakfast with Andean Views: Before starting the hike, we enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Andes mountains.

3Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain
Hike to Palcoyo After breakfast, we begin the hike, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. The trail is gentle and allows you to enjoy some of the most beautiful Andean scenery, including valleys, glaciers, lagoons, and native wildlife such as alpacas and llamas. You may also see local villagers in their daily routines and, if lucky, the majestic Andean condor soaring overhead.

Palcoyo Summit and Rainbow Mountains: Upon reaching the summit, you will be amazed by the vibrant mineral colored stripes that make Palcoyo famous. Your guide will share insights into the geological formation and cultural significance of the area. Take time to relax, enjoy the views, and capture unforgettable photos.

5Cusco
Return, Lunch, and Drive Back to Cusco: After taking in the scenery, we hike back down to the trailhead (about 45 minutes). We then continue by vehicle for approximately one hour to enjoy a delicious Peruvian lunch, surrounded by Andean landscapes. At 1:30 p.m., we begin our return journey to Cusco, passing through picturesque villages and wide valleys. Arrival at your Cusco hotel is around 6:00 p.m.
