Our private transportation will take you on a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting at Urubamba. We'll then drive to Yanahura-Pucara community, where we'll start our trek. The Mantanay valley offers stunning views of mountains and native vegetation. We'll encounter streams, lakes, and waterfalls, and observe llamas and alpacas. After lunch, we'll ascend to the picturesque lake, Yuraq Cocha, and camp at Auroray Cocha.
Patacancha is a community in Peru, known for its traditional Quechua culture. With a gradual ascent towards Huayruruyoc Pass, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the majestic mountains and the shimmering lake. The community's vantage point offers a glimpse into their daily lives, including their weaving techniques, which have been passed down through generations.
We'll start our hike at Km 104 via private transportation, reaching the impressive Inca Site Wiñay Wayna at 2650 m. This archaeological marvel features an agricultural center, terraces, urban and religious sectors, and stunning views of the Urubamba River valley. We'll then continue to the Sun Gate at 2720 m, offering a panoramic view of Machu Picchu at sunset. We'll then descend to Aguas Calientes for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early morning arrival at Machu Picchu offers a serene atmosphere for stunning photographs and sunrises. A knowledgeable guide leads a comprehensive tour of the ancient city, visiting significant structures and temples. After exploring Machu Picchu, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and train tickets to Cusco.
