You will be picked up between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and travel to Abra Málaga, where you’ll receive your gear and begin an exciting 3-hour downhill bike ride through diverse Andean landscapes. The route ends at the archaeological site of Huaman Marca, which you’ll have time to explore. Afterward, you’ll continue by van to Santa María for lunch and some rest before enjoying a one-hour rafting adventure on the Vilcanota River. Later, you’ll head to Santa Teresa, with the option to relax in the local hot springs. In the evening, you’ll stay at a local hostel in Santa Teresa, where you’ll experience warm Andean hospitality.

2Santa Teresa
Start your day at 6:30 a.m. with a good breakfast before getting ready for the adventure ahead. Around 8:00 a.m., the Zip Line Team will pick you up and take you to the starting point. After a short safety introduction, you’ll enjoy a thrilling two-hour zip line experience, crossing four cables with beautiful views of the Andean valleys. Once the activity is finished, you’ll take a scenic one-hour drive to Hidroeléctrica, where you’ll stop to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Afterward, you’ll continue with a pleasant walk along the train tracks toward Aguas Calientes. This path is surrounded by dense jungle and the peaceful sound of the nearby river, making it a relaxing and enjoyable trek. When you arrive in Aguas Calientes, you’ll check into your hostel and have some free time to rest or explore the town’s cafés, markets, and charming streets. In the evening, you’ll have dinner and receive a briefing to prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

3Machu Picchu
Today, you will experience the unforgettable highlight of your Inca Jungle Trek: a visit to the legendary Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary in Peru. You can choose to hike approximately 1.5 hours along a scenic panoramic trail with breathtaking views of the Andes or take a comfortable bus ride (US$12) from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a 2–3 hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring ancient temples, terraces, plazas, and water fountains while discovering the fascinating history, culture, and incredible achievements of the Inca civilization. Capture unforgettable photos and experience the magic of one of the world’s most iconic archaeological destinations. After your visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before continuing your journey back to Cusco by train or bus via Hidroeléctrica. Arrive between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., completing your unforgettable Machu Picchu adventure from Cusco.
