Operating Schedule: Meeting and pick up in the center of the Plaza de Armas of Cusco
We will have the opportunity to visit the Plaza Mayor of Cusco and then continue to the main temple of the sun, Coricancha. (optional for a complete Tour)
After touring this sacred church, we will continue on foot with our group through an ancient street built by the Incas that goes from the Plaza de Armas to Coricancha, the Temple of the Sun (entrance fee of 15 S/ not included in the tourist ticket) . Already in Coricancha, you will immediately be able to observe the combination of the Inca culture and Catholicism. You will also learn about the architectural differences between the Incas and the Spanish. The Coricancha was the main temple for the Incas and the center of the city from where all its highways started. Consequently, its incredible architecture is on full display throughout the site. The majestic Inca site of Sacsayhuamán. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. With your guide, you will explore this spectacular site and learn about its importance and significance. Every year, in this place, there is a great celebration in the sun.
We will return to the bus and drive for a few minutes to the Qenqo temple. In Quechua, Qenqo means labyrinth or zigzag and was named for its crooked channels carved into the rocks.
