We are going to pick you up from your accommodation
07:00 to 07:10 am we are going to pick you up from your accommodation going to San Pedro Train Station where you will get an Expedition Tran at 7:30 am. direction to Aguas Calientes Town., the train ride consists of spectacular views in this wonderful land of the Incas, amazing landscapes of mountains and valleys, Inca farming terraces on both sides of the valley, snowcapped mountains and sub-tropical jungle near the Ceja de Selva. From Pachar, the sacred Vilcanota River will be our companion until arrival at Aguas Calientes (2040m) well known as Machu Picchu Pueblo.
When you get off the train our staff will wait for you outside the Train Station will welcome you and escort you to your accommodation where you can settle, rest, and prepare to look for the best place to have lunch. After your lunch, you can walk around the town, visit the Machu Picchu museum or you may like to relax in the hot springs (10 min walking up). Your accommodation is going to be the Mantu Hotel. Finally, around 8:00 pm your guide will meet you for a short briefing and he will present you with plans for the next day.
The hot springs are natural thermal baths known for their relaxing and therapeutic properties. The waters are heated by volcanic activity in the region and are rich in minerals like sulfur, iron, calcium, and magnesium. The springs offer several pools with varying temperatures, making it a popular spot for visitors to unwind before exploring Machu Picchu.
After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station. You'll then take the bus to Machu Picchu; the trip takes approximately 25 minutes. (The day before, our tour guide will give you a briefing.)
Before entering to Picchu, you must show your passports and start your tour by visiting the most attractive places in the Sanctuary, which is one of the most famous examples of engineering, architecture, and assembly, and is carved in different streets, plazas, ceremonial fountains, and temples, surrounded by lush vegetation. The citadel sits on top of the mountain. The Tour takes approx. 2 - 2.5 Hrs and leads you through all important areas, beautiful landscapes, temples, dwellings, best sights, and all archaeological sites with a capable guide. After finishing the Tour, we board our bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will be able to find the best place to have lunch. The train that we have considered is at 15:20 (the exact time we are going to confirm at the moment of your confirmation), which will be at the Cusco bus terminal, then you will get off the train upon arrival. Our staff will wait for you outside the bus terminal, going to your Hotel and dropping you off there around 20:00
