Hike a section of the famous Inca Trail, combining a day trek and a visit to the stunning Wiñay Wayna site only accessible by foot. We will pick you up from any accommodation in Cusco, Urubamba, or Ollantaytambo. We will coordinate with you the exact pick-up time, depending on the place of accommodation. Our staff will ask for you at the reception of your accommodation.

    Cusco

    Around 4:00 to 5:00 am, the guide with private transport, and the selectors of your Accommodation in our city of Cusco, (in case the tourist has a program in the Urubamba or Ollantaytambo) in advance so we can coordinate the exact time of your pick-up). Our transport takes you to the Ollantaytambo station which is 1 hour and 40 minutes away, from our city and where you will take the train to Km 104.

    The starting point of the Trek is where we are scheduled to get off this exciting trek. When arriving at this point it is necessary to present your passports or document with which to make the reservation and then this tiny procedure will begin with our walk to the Citadel of Machu Picchu.

    The first Archaeological center to visit is Chacha Bamba which is located at 2,050 Masl Place that is located in the same valley despite having passed time, it preserves intact its architecture and continues with the walk with a leisurely and calm ascent that lasts around 3 hours, enjoying the landscape and then reaching the enigmatic complex of Wiñay Wayna.

    We arrived at Wiñay Wayna, which was an agricultural center, and took the opportunity to taste our box lunch and rest for a half hour enjoying the beautiful scenery, during the journey you can see the stunning views of the Urubamba River as well as the different types of orchids that We will descend to the cloudy point in the direction of the Inti Punku (Sun gate).

    Machu Picchu

    We walk to Machu Picchu in the early afternoon in the middle of beautiful nature. Then we keep descending for another 45 minutes to arrive at a mirador near the Guardian House, a breathtaking view of most of the citadel with temples and constructions built in white granite rock, plazas, and terraces. After having enough time, we start descending to the entry of Machu Picchu. Then, we will take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
