    We start early at 05:00 a.m. with hotel pickup in Cusco, beginning one of the most scenic hiking experiences in Peru. We will travel approximately 120 km by private transportation to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a nutritious Andean breakfast, ideal for preparing our bodies for the trek. After breakfast, we continue to Challacancha, the official starting point of the Humantay Lagoon hike. From here, we begin our walk through spectacular mountain scenery, Andean valleys, small streams, and untouched natural landscapes, making this trek perfect for nature lovers and adventure travelers. We arrive at Soraypampa (3,900 m), where we settle into our exclusive Sky Camp, offering a unique glamping experience in the Andes. After enjoying a freshly prepared lunch, we take time to rest and acclimatize, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.

    In the afternoon, we hike up to the iconic Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m), one of the most beautiful turquoise lakes in Peru and a must see destination near Cusco. Its crystal clear waters, framed by snow capped glaciers, create a once in a lifetime photo opportunity. After spending time at the lagoon, we return to Sky Camp, where we enjoy a delicious dinner under a star filled sky. We spend the night in comfortable Sky Camp domes, facing the majestic Salkantay and Humantay mountains, ensuring an unforgettable overnight trekking experience.

    Sky Camp – Salkantaypampa – Paso Salkantay – Soyrococha – Soraypampa – Cusco

    We wake up early to unforgettable views of the Andean mountains, surrounded by fresh mountain air. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at Sky Camp, we begin our ascent toward Salkantaypampa. We follow the famous trail known as the “Seven Serpents”, a scenic zigzag path that gradually leads us higher into the Andes until we reach the impressive Salkantay Pass. At the highest point of the trek, Salkantay Pass (4,650 m), we take time to admire the massive glaciers and snow capped peaks of Mount Salkantay. This is a powerful and meaningful moment, perfect for photos and for connecting with the spirit and energy of the Andes.

    After enjoying the views, we begin our descent back to Soraypampa, where we will have lunch at our Sky Camp. Following a short rest, we walk approximately 30 more minutes to reach our private transportation.
