The experience begins with transportation from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco. Our guide/driver will pick you up promptly and take you comfortably to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Please be sure to be ready in your hotel lobby at the agreed-upon time so that the tour can begin without delay.

    Your journey begins with hotel pickup in Cusco’s historic center, followed by a scenic drive into the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of Peru’s most iconic destinations. Our first stop is the Taray Viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, traditional farming terraces, and Andean landscapes. We then continue to the Pisac Archaeological Site, famous for its impressive Inca terraces, ceremonial areas, and strategic mountain location. After a guided visit, enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon, explore the remarkable Ollantaytambo Fortress, one of the best-preserved Inca towns and a key archaeological site in Cusco. At the end of the tour, board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where you will spend the night preparing for your Machu Picchu visit.

    Today is the highlight of your trip: Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, take the bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu Citadel. Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu with a professional bilingual guide (Spanish & English), visiting its most important sectors, including temples, ceremonial plazas, and agricultural terraces. Learn about the history, architecture, and spiritual significance of the Inca civilization while exploring this world-famous site. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time for photos and personal exploration. Later, return to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will spend the night.

    After breakfast, start the day with a short hike to Pinkuylluna, ancient Inca storage sites located on the mountainside above Ollantaytambo, offering spectacular panoramic views of the valley. Continue to the Maras Salt Mines, a unique complex of thousands of salt pools still used by local families, preserving ancestral extraction techniques. Next, visit Moray, an advanced Inca agricultural laboratory known for its circular terraces and microclimates, used for crop experimentation. Finally, explore Chinchero, a traditional Andean village famous for its colonial church, vibrant culture, and authentic textile weaving demonstrations.
