On the last day we will wake up at 4 am. After having breakfast we will trek to the Inti Punku, the entry point to Machu Picchu. Inti Punku provides a beautiful view of Machu Picchu during sunrise, which is only available to those who traverse the Inca Trail. Once on Machu Picchu, our 2-hour guided tour will begin. We will explore the different areas of the citadel, including its most famous buildings. If you have booked a climb to the Huayna Picchu Mountain, our staff will direct you to the entrance. After the guided tour, you will have plenty of time to explore the citadel on your own. Finally, we will take a bus to Aguas Calientes town, where we will take a train to return to Ollantaytambo. We recommend you having lunch at Aguas Calientes before boarding the train. Once in Ollantaytambo, we will drive back to Cusco. The return trip from Aguas Calientes to Cusco takes around 4 hours.
