Choquequirao, in Quechua language means "Cradle of Gold". One of the most beautiful adventure tours, since they know one of the last Inca strongholds, tells that, like the citadel of Machu Picchu, this Citadel must have been the political, religious and social center of the Inca culture.     Cusco-Cachora-Capulliyoc

    Between 4:00 and 4:30, our guide will pick you up at the hotel, to board the bus that will take you to the town of Cachora and then continue to Capulliyoc. From this place you can see the entire Apurimac valley surrounded by great mountains. Capulliyoc is located at 2,850 meters above sea level, Time for lunch. After tasting the first lunch, they will continue the walk and descend approx. 02 hours to arrive at the place called Santa Rosa, where the first camp of Andean houses awaits you to rest comfortably surrounded by mountains and beautiful landscapes of the area, after settling in, you will have your dinner.

    Santa Rosa -Choquequirao- Marampata

    Breakfast very early, the ascent walk towards Marampata (2850m / 9350f) will begin, for approximately 02 hours of ascent, arriving you will have the first view of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao (3033m / 9951f). Lunch and short rest. Then they continue the walk for 01hr. more and they will arrive at the most important point the Archaeological Complex of Choquekirao, they will be able to walk its streets, its terraces, explore the entire site with a great history that remains over time without knowing exactly what this place meant in the Inca Empire, since it is classified as the sister of the Sanctuary of Machupicchu. In the afternoon you will be able to enjoy the incredible sunset on the snow-capped peaks before returning to Maranpata. You will enjoy a delicious dinner, arriving at the camp, a well-deserved rest at (3000 m.s.n.m).

    Early breakfast before starting the descent towards the Apurimac River, the duration of the walk will be approximately 3 hours. Upon reaching the river, a brief rest, then a 1-hour ascent to the charming town of Chikiska will begin again. Here, you will recharge your batteries with a delicious lunch. After a brief rest, restart the ascent walk for 03 hours to reach the impressive viewpoint of Capuliyoc. In this place, the Andean cabins await you for rest, here you can enjoy a delicious dinner and relax by a cozy campfire. From this point you will be able to appreciate impressive views of the Apurimac Canyon and the snowy peak of Padreyoc, creating a perfect end to your day of adventure.
