Vinicunca Mountain (Pass by)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m. and begin our journey through the scenic southern valley to the village of Cusipata, located about two hours away. In Cusipata, we'll make a short stop to use the restroom or enjoy a quick coffee break. We then continue by vehicle to the community of Pulupatahuasi, about one hour farther. From there, we begin our guided hike to the spectacular Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, reaching the viewpoint at 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) above sea level. From the summit, you'll capture stunning postcard-perfect photos. Our expert guide will share fascinating insights about the mountain's unique geological formation. After taking in the views, we'll descend back to our vehicle and return to Cusipata for a traditional lunch before heading back to Cusco
