Fall in love...!!! with one of the most ancient roads in the world in a journey of 4 days 3 nights, where we will depart from Cusco city to Machu Picchu by the famous route called Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, a journey that extends for 42 kilometers (26 miles), being the highest point at 4200 masl (13800 feet), we will explore the route touring small villages, learning about its history and importance in the Inca times. Enjoy sleeping in camp, enjoy a nutritious meal along the way, and then visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World; Machu Picchu.

    Day 1

    Cusco - Km 82 - Hatunchaca - Ayapata

    Inca Trail

    We will start by pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am and transfer you to Km. 82, where we will report to the checkpoint to begin the hike. We will start by easy trail, a 2 hour walk to Llactapata, the first archaeological center, we will have an impressive view, and then continue another 2 hours walk to Hatuncancha, where lunch is waiting for us. After a rest we will continue 2 hours to our camp in Ayapata, where our staff will be waiting for us with their campsite installed, with a hot drink and a snack for the night.

    Inca Trail

    At sunrise a cup of tea or coffee awaits us, then enjoy a delicious breakfast to continue our hike, today will be a challenging day, we will have a 4 hour hike uphill to reach the pass of the Dead Woman 4215 m / 13829 feet, the highest point of our trek to Machu Picchu. At the summit we will take a break to enjoy all the scenery that surrounds the trail to Machu Picchu. We will continue a 2 hour descent until we reach the Pacaymayu valley, where lunch awaits us, and then continue 2 hours of hiking on easy trail, enjoying the archaeological centers of the Inca Trail: Runqurakay and Sayacmarca, and after 20 minutes we will arrive at our campsite in Chaquicocha.

    Chaquiccocha – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñaywayna

    Inca Trail

    Today we will have a varied journey, with a trek of about 5 hours to reach our camp, where we can explore two archaeological sites; Phuyupatamarca and Intipata, we will arrive at our campsite for the lunch time and enjoy the free time to rest and relax. In the afternoon we will visit WiñayWayna, where our guide will explain the history of this extraordinary place, after the visit we will return to our campsite to rest.

    Wiñaywayna - Sun Gate - Machu Picchu - Cusco

    Machu Picchu

    The great day arrives after 3 days of visiting gorgeous Inca trails that lead to Machu Picchu, we will wake up very early to visit Machu Picchu, after breakfast we will walk for 1 hour to the Sun Gate, from where we will enjoy the magnificence of Machu Picchu, and enjoy the sunrise from the sun gate, then we will descend to the Inca City, we will have a guided tour of the Inca city of Machu Picchu, after finishing the visit our guide will indicate us to take the bus back to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), where you can have lunch and enjoy free time and then take the train to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco.
