The Q’eswachaka bridge is the last traditional Inca bridge. The little community of Q’eswachaka weaves the “ichu” (Andean vegetal fiber) to build the large strings which constitute the bridge. They weave a new one each year using the same methods as the Incas.
We are going to leave Cusco at 7 am and we will arrive to Queue at 11 am. We can stop in various lakes on the way. Crossing the bridge is an amazing experience. After crossing the bridge, we visit the Q’eswachaka community and picnic at their place. After lunch we go back to Cusco.
