We pick up all our passengers from their hotels
We start at 6:00 a.m. with pick up from your hotel, then we travel to the town of Cachora (3100 masl), at 10:00 a.m. approximately, from here together with porters and pack horsemen we will start our trekking. with our team of horsemen and pack horses we will begin our trek. On the way of our hike we will enjoy a view of the snowy Padreyoc (5,482 masl) and the Wayna Cachora, when we arrive to the pass of Capuliyoc (2900 masl), from here we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Apurimac Valley, after a brief rest we will descend towards the town of Chiquisqa (1930 masl) where we will have our first camp.
After breakfast (5:00 a.m.), we will continue our hike to Playa Rosalina (1550 m.a.s.l.), then we will continue our hike uphill to Santa Rosa (2100 m.a.s.l.) where our cook will be waiting for us with a comforting lunch, then we will continue uphill to Maranpata (2850 m.a.s.l.), from here we will walk a straight road to Sunchupata, where we can camp and have dinner.
We start this great day with breakfast prepared by our cook and start the hike to Choquequirao where we will appreciate the sunrise, we will visit the Citadel for three hours accompanied by our guide who will explain the importance of the Inca archaeological complex and the importance of the Apurimac and Rio Blanco rivers, After the visit of Choquequeirao, we will start the return to Sunchupata until we arrive to Santa Rosa and descend to Rosalina beach, when we arrive to Chiquispa we will set up our camp for the night.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Chiquisqa (06:00 a.m.), we will return by the same road to the pass of Capuliyoc, from here we will continue two hours more to the town of Cachora, arriving at 12: 00 m. approx. on the way we will appreciate exotic places of flora and fauna, as well as mountains, snow-capped mountains and the impressive Apurimac Canyon. then continue to the city of Cusco. Arriving in the afternoon to the hotel.
