Day 1: Cusco to Quillabamba
Hotel pick-up at 7:45 AM for a scenic 4.5-hour drive through the Sacred Valley, crossing Málaga Pass (4,316 m) before descending into lush Quillabamba.
After lunch, we'll visit a local cacao farm guided by the farming family. Taste seasonal fruits, learn about tropical plants, and follow the cacao process from harvest to roasting — finishing with your own cup of traditional hot chocolate. Overnight in Quillabamba (dinner not included).
Day 2: Quillabamba to Cusco (or Hydroelectric train station)
After breakfast on your own, depart around 9:00 AM and retrace the Andean route, arriving back in Cusco by early afternoon with hotel transfer included.

If you're coming from a tour near Ollantaytambo, we recommend starting from there instead of Cusco. We can pick you up in that area, which is closer to our destination in Huayopata and will save you travel time.

Around noon, you will arrive at the farm, where you shall meet the farmers and chat for a moment and then have lunch. After lunch, you shall start the visit of the plantation where you shall pick and taste all the fruits that are in season. You will also experience the making of chocolate paste and hot chocolate and then will taste it accompanied by fruits and honey.
