Meeting and pickup
We will pick them up from the hotel if it is accessible, if it is not we will contact you to meet you in a nearby and easily accessible location.
This is a central point of the city of Cusco. If you return from a Machu Picchu tour, we recommend starting the tour in the city of Ollantaytambo where we can pick you up. Huayopata, the destination, is closer to the Ollantaytambo area.
What to expect
At Julia and José's organic farm, you will learn about medicinal plants, taste seasonal fruits, and harvest cacao pods. Then you will toast, grind, and prepare your own chocolate, and you will discover new flavor combinations by tasting 100% cocoa paste with fresh fruits.
After a homemade lunch and a brief 20-minute transfer, we will visit the Pérez family coffee plantation, where you will tour the coffee fields and participate in the entire process: harvesting, pulping, fermentation, and roasting of the coffee. We will close the day with a cup of coffee made by yourself.
It is an authentic experience, full of learning, flavors, and connection with families who cultivate with passion and respect for nature.
Approximate return time: 7:00 PM to the Sacred Valley / 9:00 PM to Cusco
