Take a shared or private tour and immerse yourself in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, strolling through picturesque and authentic Andean villages such as Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. In the Urubamba city, sample the exquisite cuisine of the Sacred Valley, prepared with local ingredients.

From Ollantaytambo, enjoy an epic train ride to Machu Picchu town. Spend a night at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain and discover the lost and mysterious city of the Incas, built over 500 years ago by order of the ninth emperor (Pachakuteq).

Note: The shared tour begins and ends in the Cusco city, and the private tour begins and ends in the Cusco city or in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The most important thing is to book more than two months in advance, because availability at Machu Picchu is limited.

    DAY 1: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas - Machu Picchu

    Are you ready for an unforgettable tour of the picturesque Sacred Valley of the Incas? Your professional guide and tour bus will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 7:45 a.m. Then, you will begin your Sacred Valley tour, making brief stops at the Awanakacha farm to see the different species of South American camelids and at the Sacred Valley viewpoint. You will continue your journey to the Pisaq archaeological site and local market. Here you can admire the extensive agricultural terraces and stroll through the colorful local market. Next, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba and then explore the Ollantaytambo archaeological site. This tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas will end in Ollantaytambo town. In the afternoon, at 16:36 / 19:04 hours, you will board the train from Ollantaytambo station to the Machu Picchu town (better known as Aguas Calientes). Upon arrival, our host will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel.

    Today is the most anticipated day of your trip, because you will visit Machu Picchu, the fourth wonder of the world and Peru's tourist icon. Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel and then, one hour before the time indicated on your Machu Picchu entrance ticket, take the bus accompanied by a local tour guide. After passing the Machu Picchu checkpoint, take the circuit indicated on your ticket. While your tour guide reveals all the secrets of this enigmatic place, admire and photograph every corner of this great cultural legacy built in perfect harmony with nature. After exploring all the sites of this impressive cultural heritage, take the bus to the Aguas Calientes town and have lunch on your own. Later, head to the train station and board your return train (14:50 /15:20 /18:20 hours) to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel in Cusco. Note: Train times in the itinerary are subject to availability.
