Mountain of Colors Tour

The Walk or Mountain 7 Colors tour: The adventure starts very early at 04:30 am. We will start picking up your Hotel until 05:00 am, then head to the picturesque town center of Cusipata (Quispicanchi) south of the city of Cusco, place where we will make a stop to stock up on some things necessary to start the tour such as water or energy drinks, snack, Cereals, etc.

Finishing this stop, we will continue our trip where we will observe the multicolored landscapes and crops that mix between the mysterious mountains and snowy mountains, Andean animals such as llama, alpaca, sheep, vicuñas and the deep valleys. We will arrive at 07:30 am to the picturesque town of Chirihuani, here we will enjoy breakfast.

We will walk through a circuit that will gradually change the landscape between mountains of intense colors and small streams of ice water that feed and give life to this valley, as we walk we will observe how the colors around us will change due to the weather, we will arrive at a height of 5200 meters above sea level. Top of the mysterious mountain of colors (Vinicunca).

This will be the point where we will have enough time to take pictures, videos, etc. At the same time, this will be the place where we will enjoy our snack while we delight in the magic that surrounds the mountains behind its veil of clouds and snowy peaks, after such an exquisite experience we will undertake the return to Chirihuani, where our minibus will be waiting for us Then we will go to the town of Fulawasi, where we will have the buffet lunch, then we will return to Cusco arriving around 5:00 p.m., thus we will finish the trek to the mountain of colors.

RECOMMEND TO CARRY:
• A lightweight backpack with a change of clothes for the entire trek period - prepare for a wide range of temperature changes.
• Rainwear (jacket and pants if available) or a rain poncho.
• Rugged footwear, waterproof trekking boots are recommended. Extra socks cannot be missing.
• Warm clothes, including jacket, fleeces, gloves, scarf and hat. Thermal clothing is also recommended.
• Camera, rolls and batteries (batteries are consumed more quickly under cold conditions).
• Hat or cap to protect from sun, rain and cold.
• Sunscreen
• After-sun cream or moisturizer for the face and body.
• Toilet paper, inside and outside luggage.
• Snacks: cookies, energy bars, chocolates, fruit, granola, etc.
• Non-disposable canteen (Nalgene type) and water for the first morning.
• We suggest you bring water sterilization tablets in case you collect water from streams.
