  Cusco

  DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK-UP – CITY TOUR Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, the representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. You will have the morning free to rest and acclimatize to Cusco's altitude. In the afternoon, we will begin the City Tour by visiting Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), one of Cusco's main religious centers during the Inca era.

  We will take a guided tour to learn about its history, architecture, and significance within the Inca Empire. Next, we will head to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive archaeological complex situated on the heights overlooking Cusco. Its name comes from Quechua and is associated with the falcon. During the visit, we will explore its massive stone structures and learn about their importance to the Incas. We will continue to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center built upon a rocky outcrop. The site is notable for its passageways, rock-carved formations, and the ritual significance it held in Inca times. Afterwards, we will visit Puca Pucara, known as the "Red Fortress," a structure that likely served as a checkpoint and watchtower for the approaches to the city of Cusco. Finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay, known as the "Inca's Bath," an important ceremonial site associated with water worship. At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco and be transferred back to the hotel.

  DAY 2: EXCURSION TO MACHU PICCHU We will travel very early from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, we will meet our guide and take the tourist bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once there, we will present our tickets and take a guided tour lasting approximately two and a half hours, exploring the citadel's main sectors and learning about its history, architecture, and significance. After the tour, we will have free time to enjoy the site and take photographs, while adhering to the circuit regulations. We will then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and some rest before heading to the station. Finally, we will board the train to Ollantaytambo, where a Chullos Travel Peru representative will be waiting to transfer us back to Cusco.

  DAY 3: SEVEN-COLOR MOUNTAIN – VINICUNCA The day will begin with a pickup from the accommodation to start the journey to the Cusipata district. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast before continuing to the Wasipata area, the starting point for the hike to the famous Seven-Color Mountain (Vinicunca). The hike will take us through high-Andean landscapes, where we can admire the mountains, local communities, and the vast natural environment characteristic of this region. Once at the Seven-Color Mountain, we will have time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, take photos, and appreciate the diverse hues that characterize Vinicunca. After the visit, we will begin the descent to the point where the transport will be waiting. We will continue the journey back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we will head back to the city of Cusco, where the tour will conclude.

  DAY 4: AIRPORT TRANSFER – WALKING TOUR OF CUSCO We will have the morning free to rest, enjoy our accommodation, or take a walking tour of Cusco's historic center, depending on our flight schedule. During this tour, we will visit some of the historic center's main attractions, including: Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, surrounded by significant colonial buildings, the Cathedral, and the Church of the Society of Jesus (Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús); and Plaza de las Nazarenas, one of the most traditional and peaceful spots in the historic center. The San Blas neighborhood, known for its traditional streets, artisan workshops, and colonial architecture. The Stone of Twelve Angles, one of the finest examples of the precision of Inca architecture. San Pedro Market, where we can discover local products and cuisine, and get a close-up look at the city's daily life. Finally, depending on the flight schedule, we will transfer from the hotel to Cusco Airport, bringing the program to a close.
