Spend the next two hours enjoying a guided walking tour that provides an overview of the key landmarks and history of this remarkable Inca site. You will also have some free time to explore at your own pace, relax, and take photos. Important Information about Machu Picchu: The Peruvian Ministry of Culture has updated the visiting rules for Machu Picchu, dividing entrance hours into two sessions: AM Entrance: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PM Entrance: 11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Visitors must leave the site within their assigned time slot and are not allowed re-entry once they exit. Those who fail to comply will be escorted out by the appropriate authorities. For the full-day tour, the visiting time begins when the check-in at Machu Picchu is completed. For example, if entry is at 9:00 a.m., you may remain in the park until 1:00 p.m., which allows ample time to explore this amazing site.
