Our tour embarks on a walking adventure from the Chinchero district to the peasant community of Racchi, where we will be accompanied by alpacas and affable llamas. Also, you can see the snowy, mountains, panoramic views and more, you will also be accompanied by artisans where we will share their life experiences that belong to the project of women entrepreneurs and the one of being able to learn from the artisan textile process based on alpaca fiber. The duration of the tour includes the round trip transfer time.
Acquiring this tour will be able to learn from Cusco culture and how it coexists in harmony with nature and animals, as well as contributing with single mothers artisans and continue working with our millennial culture in the use of alpaca wool.

Meeting point

MachuQolqa viewpoint: This observation point is a popular place for tourists to stop and enjoy panoramic views of the MachuQolqa Archaeological Park and Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is located 4 minutes from the district of Chinchero on the Cusco-Urubamba Road at KM 34.

End point

The tour ends with some activities at Andean Colors, located 2 km from the starting point. From this location, travelers can arrange transportation or continue their journey. (Andean Colors can assist with transportation arrangements for an additional fee.)

    Chinchero

    This is the starting point, where travelers will get off at the Chinchero viewpoint, to appreciate the landscape view of the archaeological center and its temple. Likewise, they will begin the walk towards the Qori Huayrachina viewpoint.

    At the Qori Huayrachina viewpoint you will see the sacred valley and where you will have a stop for a picnic. Then, the walk will continue to the Machuqolqa archaeological park where the tour will consist of seeing the pre-Inca and Inca constructions.

    The first activity will be to feed and drink the llamas and alpacas, so they can rest. Likewise, visitors will have lunch and then learn about the way guinea pigs are raised; and finally learn about the Andean Colors project that helps single mothers who are artisans and the textile process based on alpaca fiber.
