After breakfast at the hotel, accompanied by your Inca Trail guide, take the 25-minute shuttle bus to the Machu Picchu Inca city and enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the most important sites, such as the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Residence, the Water Mirrors, and others. Your guide will explain all the details of this Inca Empire iconic city.
Finally, at the agreed time, take the bus to the Aguas Calientes town and have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, head to the station and board your return train (15:20/18:20hrs) to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

NOTE: We strongly recommend that you book this tour more than 2 months in advance, as otherwise we cannot guarantee tickets for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Once tickets for the Inca Trail have been purchased in your name and with the tour date, Peruvian government policy doesn't allow for name or date changes, and tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    Cusco

    At 4:00 a.m. Our staff will pass through your hotel in Cusco to transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station. Take the train that leaves at 6:10/6:40a.m. and travel for 1 hour and 18 minutes to km-104 of the railway. Accompanied by a local guide, pass through the Inca Trail checkpoint. Begin your 2 Day Inca Trail hike by visiting the Chachabamba archaeological site. Then, continue on a beautiful path to the amazing Wiñaywayna archaeological site, where you will have enough time to explore and have lunch. Then, continue uphill hike to the Sun Gate (2,730m/8,956ft), the highest point. From the Sun Gate, admire the enchanting panoramic view of the Machu Picchu nestled among beautiful mountains. Finally, descend at a slow pace to the Machu Picchu viewpoint, where you can enjoy the classic view and take excellent postcard photos. At 5:00 p.m., take a bus to the Aguas Calientes and check in at your selected hotel. To enjoy dinner on your own, your guide will suggest a good restaurant.

    After breakfast at the hotel, accompanied by your Inca Trail local guide, take the 25-minute shuttle bus to the Machu Picchu Inca city and enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the most important sites, such as the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Residence, the Water Mirrors, the Main Square, and others. Your professional guide will explain all the details of this Inca Empire iconic city. Finally, at the agreed time, take the bus to the Aguas Calientes town and have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, head to the train station and board your return train (at 14:55 / 15:20 / 18:20hours) to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our staff and tourist transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco. Note: If you have tickets to climb Huaynapicchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, climb after visiting the Machu Picchu citadel. It will take between 3 and 4 hours to climb up and down.
