After the 4-hour drive to Cachora, we'll start the trek across the Apurimac Canyon, visit villages and scenic points, have lunch at Capuliyoc, and continue to Chiquisca. Apurimac means “the god that speaks”. The canyon is traversed by the Apurimac river. Along this river you’ll find multiple Inca sites. The Apurimac canyon will give us some impressive vistas while we hike.

We’ll visit La Colmena, Cocamasana, and the Capuliyos observational point. We’ll stop in the sector of Capuliyoc for lunch. Then we'll continue to Chiquisca to dinner and campsite overnight . This location is surrounded by forest

Following an early breakfast, you'll hike downhill to La Playa Rosalina, then ascend to Marampampa for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking to Choquequirao where you'll set up camp and enjoy a guided tour of the ruins before having dinner and resting overnight.

You'll start the day with early morning views of Choquequirao, then begin the return trek, descending to La Playa Rosalina for lunch.

Ascending again to Chiquisca, passing through small communities, and camping overnight in Chiquisca.

During the 6-hour return hike, we'll pass through small villages and have another chance to photograph the Padrayoc and Huayna Cachora snow peaks.
