Culminating our visit to Moray, we will continue our journey to the Salt mines of Maras, formed by around 3000 pools. It is said that in Inca times, Maras salt is currently in high demand because it comes from the mountains and not the sea, in addition to its medicinal properties. We recommend buying some pink salt, as it contains the highest amount of minerals beneficial to health. Upon finishing, we will return to the city of Cusco. On the way back, we will make a stop in Chinchero to visit an alpaca factory where the locals will show you the entire alpaca production process.
