    Begin your 2-day Inca Trail adventure with an early pickup from Cusco or the Sacred Valley, followed by a scenic drive to Ollantaytambo and a train ride to KM 104. Meet your guide and start the trek, ascending to the beautiful site of Wiñay Wayna for exploration and lunch. Continue hiking to the Sun Gate (Intipunku) for your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu. Descend to the citadel for a brief visit and iconic photos, then take the bus to Aguas Calientes. End the day with hotel check-in and a delicious Peruvian dinner.

    Sunrise at Machu Picchu and Journey Back to Cusco

    Machu Picchu

    Begin early with breakfast at 5:00 a.m., then take the 5:30 a.m. bus to Machu Picchu. Enter around 6:00 a.m. for a 2.5-hour guided tour of the main highlights, followed by 30 minutes of free time to explore on your own (maximum 3 hours in total at the site). If you have tickets for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, your guide will take you to the entrance at the scheduled time. After your visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time for lunch and to explore the town. In the afternoon, board your train back to Ollantaytambo (departure at 2:30 p.m. or 2:55 p.m.), then continue by vehicle to Cusco, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
