The service is door-to-door: early pick-up from your hotel, comfortable tourist transport and return to the city center, without transfers. If the altitude demands you, the villagers offer optional horses.     Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel between 4:20 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. to begin the journey to the Vinicunca base.

    Along the way we will make a stop of approximately 40 minutes in the town of Cusipata for breakfast.

    Vinicunca Mountain

    When arriving at the base you will encounter cold weather, so it is advisable to wear warm clothes. Here guide will give you important information for climbing to the top of the mountain. The ascent walk takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. This walk requires considerable physical effort, so it is recommended to be in good physical shape. During the walk you will have the company of a guide who will give you information about the tour. If the hike becomes too demanding for you, there is the possibility of renting a horse to the local mountain inhabitants paying with cash (this service is not included in the package). Once at the top, at 5,036 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a spectacular view. Then you will walk down back to the base for lunch before leaving back for Cusco.

    After finishing the hike we will take you back to the town of Cusipata so that there you can have lunch for about 1 hour. At the end of lunch we will continue our journey back to Cusco.
