We will pick you up at your hotel at the time corresponding to the excursion.
What to expect
We begin with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. and then drive approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Chuquicahuana area, located southwest of Cusco. This upper section of the Urubamba River, whose name in Quechua means "golden river," is famous for its crystal-clear waters, exciting rapids, and beautiful Andean landscapes.
Upon arrival at the starting point, we will receive a safety briefing and all rafting equipment will be issued. We will then navigate the river for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, covering 17 km (9 miles) of rapids and constant waves, surrounded by nature.
At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a homemade picnic lunch in a peaceful atmosphere.
The activity concludes around 4:00 p.m., with the return to Cusco.
