Very early in the morning, your tour guide will meet you and drive to the Colonial center of Lima city, visiting the Plaza mayor’s historic buildings Palace of the archbishop, Casa de Aliaga. In the afternoon, transfer to the Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport of Cusco, you will be welcomed by a Peru Expeditions Tours representative who will drive you to your hotel in Cusco, the capital of the great Inca Empire and surrounded by the beautiful Andes Mountains.

Day 3
Cusco City tour

You will begin your tour in the morning by visiting the Plaza de Armas-Main Square. We will continue our tour exploring the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. Just a few blocks away, you will visit the famous 12-angle stone and Loreto Street; nearby, you will see the Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun in Incas time, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold. As you return to the lower part of the city, you will stop off at the San Pedro Market, where you will be delighted by the variety of unique and traditional local products and discover new aromas and tastes.

Day 4
Sacred Valley: Pisac, Maras, Moray, and Ollantaytambo

Today you will experience a guided excursion to the enigmatic Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start at 7:30 am and drive to Taray’s viewpoint, where you will have the best view of the Sacred Valley. Next, we will drive for another 30 minutes to Pisac to visit the archeological site and the local market. After seeing and visiting the handicraft market, we will continue our journey passing the Sacred Valley until we arrive at Urubamba to have lunch in a local Restaurant. After lunch, we will explore the terraces of Moray, the Salineras of Maras, and the fortress of Ollantaytambo, where we will observe some of the region’s best examples of Inca architecture. Day 5
Machu Picchu (The Lost City of the Incas) – Cusco

On our final day, we have to get up very early to prepare for the highlight of your TreXperience, visiting Machu Picchu – the Lost City of the Incas. We will go straight to the line to wait for the first bus to Machupicchu at 5:30 am. Arriving as the sky brightens, taking in the stunning views along the way. Your guide will take you on a 2 to a 3-hour comprehensive tour of the city before leaving you in Machu Picchu to explore on your own or climb either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (must be booked as far in advance as possible). Your guide will explain how to take the bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train and bus back to Cusco. Drop off at your Hotel.

Day 6
Rainbow Mountain tour

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you for 3 hours to breakfast in a native community. Our Peru Expeditions Tours begins in this community, with a 3-hour ascent to Vinicunca mountain (16,466 ft. -5,020 mts). Upon reaching the summit and exploring, you will start descending for lunch to take our bus later back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 6 pm.

Raqchi & Puno

Depart Cuzco early in the morning on a tourist bus enjoying spectacular scenery as you drive through the Andes Mountains to Puno. On the way, we will visit Andahuaylillas Church, Raqchi temple, and Pucapucara to later arrive at the world’s highest navigable lake and South America’s largest freshwater lake. Day 8
Excursion on Lake Titicaca

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will go on an excursion by boat from Puno to the fascinating Uros Floating Islands. You will have the chance to explore and interact with the area’s indigenous people. The Uros villagers live very much, keeping their ancestors’ ancient customs and traditions. Return to Puno for a free afternoon to explore the city of Puno.

Travel to Colca Canyon

Around 6:00 am, we will Transfer you to Colca, taking you into some of the most magnificent landscapes in Peru. Upon arrival in Colca, you will relax for the night at the thermal baths.

Full Day in Colca Canyon

After breakfast, we will start the tour to Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest. You will be able to hike to the Mirador of the. Colca Valley has been known by many different names, including The Valley of Wonders, The Valley of Fire, and The Territory of the Condor – and now is recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
