    Day 1

    Huaraz city 3100m– Caraz 2,256 m – Laguna Parón 4,155 m- Retorno a Huaraz

    On this tour, you will visit the largest lake in the Cordillera Blanca and the Huascarán National Park: After picking you up from your hotel or meeting point, we will depart at 5:30 a.m. heading north from Huaraz, enjoying views of the Cordillera Blanca and the traditional villages of the Callejón de Huaylas. First stop: Just outside the city of Caraz, where you can buy water and/or any food you may need for the visit to the lake. You may also take this time to reserve your lunch. Second stop: Parón Lake, where we will take a short hike to the viewpoint to capture the classic photographs or simply enjoy the impressive views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Optional: Kayak ride (not included). Lunch will be at a tourist restaurant, approximately S/ 30 (not included). We will return to the city of Huaraz at approximately 6:30 p.m.

    Huaraz City (3,100 m) – via Pueblo Catac – Visit to the Puya Raimondi – Pastoruri Glacier (5,050 m) – Return to Huaraz

    08:30 a.m. Departure from your hotel or meeting point, heading south of Huaraz through Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac with views of the southern Cordillera Blanca. Stop 1: Patococha, or Duck Lagoon, to observe wild ducks in a peaceful Andean setting. Stop 2: Puma Pampa Carbonated Spring, with its bubbling waters and views of the Mururaju Glacier. Stop 3: Pumapashimi Lagoon (Seven Colors Spring), known for its vibrant hues linked to local legends. Stop 4: Visit the towering Puya Raimondii, an iconic high-Andean plant. Stop 5: Arrival at Pastoruri Base Camp for a 40-minute hike to the glacier. Horses available (extra cost). Final: Lunch stop in Ticapampa on the return trip. Return to Huaraz.

    Huaraz–Yungay Village–Drive through the Llanganuco Gorge–Cebollapampa– Trek to Lake 69 (4,650 m)–Return to Huaraz

    5:00 AM: Your adventure begins with hotel pick-ups. Once all passengers are on board, we head toward the scenic Callejón de Huaylas. 7:30 AM: We stop for breakfast (not included), giving you time to recharge before the trek. We then continue to the impressive Llanganuco Valley (3,900 m), where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lagoons. Next, we reach Cebollapampa, the starting point of the hike. The trek to Lake 69 (4,604 m) takes approximately 3 hours, offering incredible landscapes along the way. After reaching the lake and taking time to appreciate its beauty, we begin the 2-hour descent back to Cebollapampa. Your transport will be waiting to take you back to Huaraz, marking the end of the tour.

    Huaraz – via the town of Caraz – Punta Olímpica (4,736 m) – Pico Mateo (5,150 m a.s.l.) – Return to Huaraz.

    Departure from Huaraz at approximately 3:00 a.m. – Carhuaz – Ulta Valley (Huascarán National Park checkpoint) – Punta Olímpica Tunnel. Begin the ascent on the moraine (a rocky and steep path) for approximately 2 hours. Continue the climb on ice and snow for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until reaching the summit. At the top, we will stay for a few minutes to take photographs and enjoy the surrounding landscape before descending along the same route for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes back to Punta Olímpica. Return to the city of Huaraz, ending the tour between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., approximately.
