Discover Lake Titicaca with a 2-day boat tour of the lake visiting the famous “floating islands” and the isolated mainland island community of Amantani. Stay the night on the island (Amantani) and see first-hand the traditional island life and customs passed down through generations.
Be aware the first and last nights are overnight buses from and back to Cusco, as the tour starts from there.

1Cusco
Travel overnight from Cusco to Puno aboard a comfortable Peru Hop bus with onboard high-speed Wi-Fi. The bus departs from Cusco at 9:30 pm, arriving in Puno around 6:00 am.

2Puno
You will be taken to our partner hostel, you will be picked up from there, between 7:15 am and 8:15 am, to start the tour to the Lake.

3Uros Floating Islands
Around 8:15 am, you will board the boat out to the Uros Islands for a guided tour of the famous “floating reed islands”.

At 10:30 am, the highest navigable lake in the world out to the remote Island of Amantani. At 1:30 pm, you will have a guided tour of the island and learn the traditional history, lifestyle, and cultures of the island community. At 2:00 pm, you will have a typical lunch in the family's house made from natural products. At 3:00 pm, intercultural activities with the local family. After the activities, you can decide if you wish to go to 1-hour hike up to Pachatata temple to watch the sunset. At 7:00 pm, you will have a typical local dinner at the family's house. You will spend the night with a local family.

You will have time from 7:00 am to 8:00 am to have breakfast with your host family. At 9:00 am, you will board the boat to Llachon Peninsula, this is a 1-hour boat ride.

From 10:00 am to 12:00m pm, witness the seasonal activities of this rural community. Free time to enjoy one of the most picturesque locations on Lake Titicaca. At 12:00 pm, you will have lunch

7Puno
At 1:30 pm, you will catch the boat back to Puno, arriving around 4:00 pm. You will have free time in Puno until 9:00 pm, when the Peru Hop bus departs back to Cusco. The meeting point is our partner hostel.

Arrive back in Cusco, around 5:00 am. We will cover the taxis to your accommodation, as long as these are located near the city center.
